CHARACTERS LIMIT IN META TAGS

Each search engine shows a different amount of words/letters for the title and description. Google shows 60 characters in a IE browser window (including commas & spaces). So some people recommend only putting 60 characters into the title tag.

Description tag has a limitation-Google shows the first 150 characters in the description tag.

Other search engine range from 150 to 200.

Keywords has a limitation-most people speak, using Word characters 1000 or up to 45. Google does not use keywords in the content of the target.

Use the sample:

meta title..... Word1 for both word2... WordN (60 characters or 9 words)
meta keywords.... kw1, kw2, kw3, .... kwN (allowed 1000 characters or 45 words)
meta description.... word1 word2 ... wordN (allowed 150 - 200 characters or 25 words)
